Does is swing from side to side for yes? Then write that down. Does it circle for No? Write it down. Also make a note on what strength of swing you get. Learn to hold the string or chain with a steady hand. This is where the psychic side of you comes through. You do not want to influence the answers you get. The amounts of different pendulums that are available are truly beautiful with different crystal stones set in a chain. They do not have to be expensive nor do they have to be special items specially made as a divination tool. One of the best and most responsive pendulums I use is a little Kruger rand set in a gold setting.

It is one of the best tools I have in this range. The accuracy rate is high and although no psychic is ever 100% this tool usually gives me a good 95 to 98% rating. When you start doing the questions, remember that the questions need to be formatted so that the pendulum can give either a 'Yes" or 'No' answer. It can not give you an answer like "Aunt Rachael did it". This is something that is great at a fun party like a stork party where you can ask questions like is it a boy or is it a girl. Whatever pendulum you use for your psychic questions try to keep it in a special place and always thank it for the answers. This helps to keep it in tune with the energies. It might sound strange but don't let other people handle it. It is attuned to you and you need to keep other peoples energies away from it or you will have to re-attune it before use again.

A divining rod is a Y shaped stick that is used to indicate the presence of water in an area. This is also called water divining or water witch stick. The person, who uses the stick, holds the stick firmly and starts walking slowly. Once you get the hang of it you can begin asking questions, phrased in a way that the answer will be either yes or no. For example: Question: Is today Monday? Is today Friday? etc. Be specific with any question you ask or the rods will not answer. For instance, instead of asking "Will I be rich?" ask "Will I make at least $100,000 in the year 2000?" Or, ask, "Will I buy a new car within the next 12 months?" If the answer is YES, you can begin to narrow it down by asking, "Will I buy a new car within the next 6 months, 3 months, 1 month?", etc.

It's also possible that the rods will open for a yes, and cross for a no. If that happens, that is fine, and is the right way for you to use them. Everybody is different, so always start by asking "Which way is yes?", etc. If all else fails, hand them to a child and ask them to try them. Children tend to be very open to dowsing energies. Remember that being too willful can corrupt the accuracy of your reading.

Sun, 25 Dec 2011 04:39:00 -0800 Dowsing Water Depth Resources & Techniques http://ronnydaugher511.posterous.com/dowsing-water-depth-resources-techniques http://ronnydaugher511.posterous.com/dowsing-water-depth-resources-techniques Force the pendulum into a forward swing, 45 degrees to the right, and say out loud, "This is my 'Ready' position" -- meaning you are now ready to seek an answer to a question through the dowsing process. By making this statement you are acknowledging consciously that this is your intention, and at the same time, programming your subconscious mind with this thought.

Next, force the pendulum into a forward swing, straight away from your body, while saying "This is my 'Yes' response." Finally, force the pendulum into a forward swing, 90 degrees to the left and say, "This is my 'No' response."

To see a picture of how to properly hold the pendulum and a simple graph that you can dowse over to more easily monitor your pendulum swings, click here: http://www.sedonaportal.com/dowsinglesson.htm

You can actually choose any "Ready", "Yes", and "No" responses you want, such as a counterclockwise swing of the tool for "Yes" and the opposite for "No", but the above responses are commonly chosen.

Practice whatever response positions you choose a few times, forcing the pendulum into the appropriate swing angles. Then attempt to achieve the responses without forcing the pendulum. After a few forced demonstrations, your subconscious mind will pick up the pattern and cause your body to produce the neuromuscular signals to create the appropriate response without your conscious attention. To speed up your body's response time, from the point you ask the question to the point the tool actually moves, all you need to do is practice.

Asking Questions

Your subconscious mind is the middleman between your conscious thoughts and the pool of information that you are going to be tapping into to get a response. No one is quite sure where this pool of information is, or how it came to be, but apparently it does exist, because all practiced dowsers can retrieve information from it.

In posing dowsing questions, it is important to realize that the subconscious mind is very literal. Because the subconscious is the aspect of your mind that will be retrieving answers for you, it is crucial that you are very specific in describing the information you are seeking and that you phrase your questions in ways that cannot be misinterpreted.

Example of a Poorly Phrased Question

"Do I need vitamins?"

The answer will always be "Yes". The body needs vitamins and minerals to operate properly.

A Better Question

"Would I benefit from taking vitamin supplements at this time?"

If you get a "Yes" response, you will at least know that the purchase and intake of vitamin supplements will not be a waste of time and money. How much of a benefit you would realize and what form the benefits will take are still unknown, so you would have to ask more questions if you want more specific information. Also, you would have to ask more questions to find out which vitamins (A? B?, E?) and what dosage would be most beneficial.

Another Example of a Poorly Phrased Question

"Is George a good match for me?"

The subconscious mind cannot clearly interpret this question. The word "match" has too many possible meanings. To name a few:

1) An instrument for starting fires

2) A competitive game, as in "tennis match"

3) A complimentary coupling of colors

4) A pairing of a set

5) A person considered with regard to suitability as a partner in marriage

Sun, 25 Dec 2011 04:34:00 -0800 What is Deviceless Dowsing? http://ronnydaugher511.posterous.com/what-is-deviceless-dowsing http://ronnydaugher511.posterous.com/what-is-deviceless-dowsing Begin by relaxing your arm and holding the top of the chain in your hand. Make sure you are open to pendulum dowsing. Ask to open yourself up by allowing the life force energy to move through you freely and visualize the crown of your head and bottom of your feet open, to allow the energy to move freely through your body.

To begin your pendulum dowsing, you may want to shorten the chain to 2-4 inches in length. Ask the pendulum, "give me a yes". Usually the pendulum will move in a clockwise or counter clockwise circle or back and forth in a straight line. Now establish your "No" answer, again asking the pendulum. The "No" answer is usually the opposite of your "Yes". Sometimes it will move back and forth other times it will move in a clockwise or counterclockwise motion. If you do not get any movement with your pendulum dowsing, be patient and continue to practice with the pendulum and eventually, you will be able to relax enough to allow the life force energy to move through the pendulum. Do not force it, just allow it to happen.

You can ask the pendulum a question that you already know the answer, to verify your "yes" and "no". For example, ask if you live in Los Angeles or if you are a woman. Once you get your answer, you can verify the movement of your pendulum dowsing.

Asking questions

It is important to ask VERY specific questions that can be answered with a YES or NO. To make a choice about several options, ask about each separately until you receive a YES. If you do not ask the appropriate question, you will get an inappropriate answer.

Here are some sample questions you can use to begin your pendulum dowsing:

Love Life

Will I be happy with this person?

Does this person have any hidden agendas?

Does this person like me for who I am?

Career

Is this a good position for me?

Will I be happy with this career?

Will I like my co-workers? Boss?

Health

You can do some pendulum dowsing to determine what foods your body wants when you are shopping. Begin by placing the pendulum over the food you want to buy and ask the following questions:

Does my body want this food?

Is this a good choice for my family?

Is this food fresh?

In other words, a devoted atheist can be a devoted meditator and receive no spiritual benefit and yet still benefit from meditating. On the other hand, profound spiritual experiences can and do occur with those who take meditation to a different level.

I have been on guided meditations that have literally brought me to a point where I truly felt I was communicating with a conscious entity on a completely different level of consciousness.

Sure, some could say that this was all in my head, and perhaps it all was. In fact, it was all in my head. It was my mind that was somewhere else interacting with a spiritual being.

Right about this time I was reading a book written by Dr. Courtney Brown. Dr. Brown is a mathematician, Scientist, Author of numerous books on math, physics and consciousness and an avid remote viewing researcher. Dr. Dowsing Tools, Dowsing Pendulum, Divining Rods
